Hello my name is Nicola, I qualified from Manchester Dental Hospital in 1985 and keep wondering where has the time gone?! I worked in and around Manchester in a few practices before setting up The Dental Health Centre in 1990. It seems like yesterday! We have quickly grown to a popular 4 surgery practice in the centre of Didsbury village.
I have always enjoyed doing a full range of treatments and over the last 10 years I’ve particularly enjoyed working with nervous patients. I did a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and use my skills to provide a unique and successful approach for treating phobic patients. I regularly attend training courses to improve my skills and keep up to date with advances in technology in all areas of dentistry.
I have handpicked my team and together we provide a professional and friendly working environment and I have always worked hard to maintain a sense of team work within the practice.
When I’m not with my kids (actually they are now young men!), I love to be away from the city walking with my dog. I love photography and eating out with friends. I am a committed Christian and this has always been central to my work and my home life.

Hi I’m Dominic. I describe myself as an old hand at the Dental Health Centre having been here since 2005 and I love working here!
I settled in the North-West having qualified at Sheffield Dental Hospital in 2000, going on to complete my Royal College of surgeons exams in 2002. I developed my experience across the full range of specialties including Oral Surgery at Preston Royal and Restorative Dentistry at Manchester Dental Hospital and in Nottinghamshire, along with Community Paediatric Dentistry in East Manchester.
Early on in my career I took a 6 month sabbatical promoting HIV and AIDS awareness in West Africa.
All that was before joining the Dental Health Centre where I put into practice everything that that I have learnt and enjoy further learning through the Post Graduate courses that I continue to attend.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry including Cosmetic Dentistry, transforming smiles, where I now also offer Orthodontic Inman Aligners to straighten teeth. I also work alongside Nicola in offering special care for nervous patients which I find particularly rewarding helping anxious patients overcome their fear of dental treatment.
Outside of dentistry it’s the wider world that captivates me. Through photography, reading and travel I can enjoy my past experiences and plan future adventures.

Hello, I’m Sunil but because of my long surname – Panchmatia, most people call me Dr P.
After many years running my own practice in Denton, (almost 28 in total), having sold it now, I am delighted to join the Dental Health Centre as an associate.
I have many years experience in general dentistry and have also been involved in the education and training of dentists and dental care professionals both in practice and in various institutions for some time.
I was a tutor for 8 years for the MJDF qualification, appointed by the North West division of the FGDP, and I currently lead a study group in the North West for dentists wishing to take the Fellowship of the faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons-England.
In addition to general dentistry I have an interest in Restorative Dentistry and I enjoy restoring dental Implants, which are becoming increasingly popular.
I have for many years successfully managed dental phobic patients, which I find very rewarding.
When I’m not working, I enjoy travelling and spending time with my family.
I already feel very much at home at the Dental Health Centre here in Didsbury as Nicola shares the same ethos of patient care and excellence in dentistry.
