Nicola Owen B.D.S. (VU Manc) GDC Reg 60478

Nicola qualified from Manchester University in 1985.
After working as an associate in and around Manchester, she established The Dental Health Centre in 1990. The practice has 4 treatment rooms with 2 associate dentists and 1 hygienist/therapist. Nicola enjoys providing a full range of treatments, both routine and cosmetic and regularly attends dental courses in order to maintain a high standard of work. Nicola has almost completed a Counselling Diploma, and offers a very sensitive and successful management of nervous patients. Nicola spends her spare time with her 2 sons and her dogs. She is actively involved in her church. She also enjoys the outdoors and photography.

Dominic Pett B.D.S. (VU Sheff) MFDS, RCS (Edin) GDC Reg 77786

Dominic has been an assoiciate dentist at The Dental Health Centre since 2005 and his aim is to provide the highest standard of dentistry to all patients, by treating them through listening and working through their concerns in a relaxed, clinical environment.
Since qualifying from Sheffield University in 2000, Dominic has gained both hospital and community experience involving surgery and care of nervous patients.
In 2003, he was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and in 2009 completed a years advanced restorative course.
Prior to joining the practice Dominic undertook a six month sabbatical, working for a HIV/AIDS charity, through Western and Eastern Africa.
Along with travel, his interests are reading, mountain biking and photography.

Lena Burns B.D.S. (VU Manc) Reg GDC 66003

Lena qualified from Manchester University in 1990, and has worked in general practice in the Greater Manchester area ever since.
She was awarded prizes from both Manchester University and the Medical Insurance Agency for her elective in Oral Medicine, which was undertaken at Singapore Dental Hospital.
Lena joined The Dental Health Centre in 2000 and from 2000 until 2006, she attended the advanced update course at MANDEC and recently completed a 1 year advanced restorative course and a one year practical restorative and aesthetic course in Manchester.
Lena enjoys spending her spare time with her family and is also an aerialist and some of her holidays include performing in trapeze and cordelisse with the circus.

Mr Peter McDonald B.D.S. (L'Pool)

Pete qualified in 1998 at Liverpool Dental Hospital. He began practising in The Wirral, Merseyside and then in Kingsmead, Cheshire before joining The Dental Health Centre in April 2006.

Pete attends on-going dental courses and he is committed to furthering his postgraduate training, having recently started working towards his MFGDP (Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice UK) qualification.

In the past he has competed in charity runs and his hobbies included mountain biking and rock climbing, but now having 2 young daughters, he's more likely to be climbing frames in the park and cycling to work.

Sarah Buckley

Sarah started as a Dental Nurse in 1989, qualified in 1994, then went on to train Dental Nurses for their National Certificate.

During this time she gained her NVQ Training and Development Qualification, her D32 and D33 assessors awards as well as her NVQ Customer Service Level 3 Qualification.

In Oct 2001, joined TDHC as Receptionist and July 2006 became Practice Manager.

Michelle Smith

Michelle began her dental nursing in 1999 and qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2001. She has been with us since Sept 2002 and works mainly with Lena Burns.

Becky Dawson

Becky joined the practice straight from school in July 2005. She has recently completed her NVQ Dental Nurse Qualification Level 2 and is soon to complete her Level 3. Becky works mainly with Nicola Owen and Lena Burns.

Nicola Kelly

Nicola began dental nursing in in 1996 and qualified in 2003. She started here in May 2003 and works mainly with Peter McDonald

Carole Griffiths

Carole began dental nursing in 1993. She qualified in May 2004 and came to work at TDHC in May 2006. She works mainly with Dominic Pett.

Karen Lewis

Karen started working as a Dental Nurse in 1988 and qualified in 1991. In 1993 she passed her Certificate in Conscious Sedation.

Karen originally began working at TDHC in 1997 on a casual basis, but has recently taken up a permanent part time position here as Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Sue Dalziel

Sue began dental nursing in 1996, She qualified in January 1997 and in January 2001 undertook her Radiography Qualification. She has been with the practice since March 2001, and works as both a Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Gillian Greenhalgh

Gill originally worked in the Travel Industry and came to work in TDHC in Jan 2004 as a Receptionist. She recently completed her NVQ in Business Administration Level 2.

Sue Dalziel

Sue began dental nursing in 1996, She qualified in January 1997 and in January 2001 undertook her Radiography Qualification.
She has been with the practice since March 2001, and works as both a Dental Nurse and Receptionist.

Roxanne Parkes - O'Connell R.D.H. R.D.T. (Leeds)

Roxanne began dental nursing in 2001 and gained her qualification in 2003. To further her career, she studied and graduated as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist at Leeds University in 2008. As a dual qualified dental care professional, Roxanne is currently providing a wide range of treatments on children and adults in several practices in and around Manchester. Roxanne joined The Dental Health Centre in 2009. Her interests are travelling, reading, going to the cinema and eating out.
