As a practice we are keen to encourage anxious/nervous patients as we have many years’ experience of successfully treating anxious patients. The Dental Health Centre and has established a sensitive and compassionate team of dentists and staff who work together to help you overcome your fears.
We recognise that there are many reasons why people can be anxious about visiting the dentist and our team of clinicians are keen to understand what your reasons are and to help you to overcome them.
We have successfully treated many patients whose fear of the dentist has been so bad that they have avoided a dental visit for many years. When this is the case it is common to feel embarrassed about this, which may worsen your anxiety. We understand this and want to reassure you that we will not judge you for this. Our team will ensure you feel comfortable at every stage of your visit with us.
If you are nervous and worried about a dental visit, you don’t need to put it off any longer, we do free acclimatisation visits where you can come in and talk about your fears and look at the options we might offer you. We have many patients registered with us who were extremely nervous about their first visits; the great thing is that having overcome their fears, those patients now feel comfortable attending regularly for routine care.
