Tooth knocked out
If your tooth has been knocked out, it is important to keep it moist until you can see us. Avoid scrubbing the root surface. A gentle rinse under a running tap will clean any loose debris off but avoid touching the root. Place it back into the socket if possible, or keep it in the cheek of your mouth (but not in the case of young children or a severe facial injury), or in milk. Seek dental treatment as soon as possible, preferably within the hour. The quicker you see us, the more chance there is of saving your tooth.

I have been a patient for many years and Dominic and Carol know me well. I have a very small mouth and any appointments mean it is difficult to access the back on my mouth. My dentist and nurse recognise this and I am always treated with respect.

Staff are always willing to answer any questions I have. They are always polite and helpful. My original appointment was for several weeks later, but I was put on a waiting list for any cancellations and was then able to get an appointment sooner than planned.
