All-on-4™ Dental Implants
Also referred to as Same Day Smile, All-on-4™ is an advanced dental implant treatment designed to provide natural-looking replacement teeth supported by dental implants. In suitable cases, temporary fixed teeth may be fitted on the same day as implant placement.
What are implant-secured dentures?
Dental implants are small titanium posts placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. They can then be used to support replacement teeth such as a bridge or denture. Traditionally, securing a full arch of replacement teeth may require between six and ten implants. During the healing period, which can take several months, temporary teeth are often fitted while the implants integrate with the bone before permanent teeth are placed.
The All-on-4™ approach
All-on-4™ is a modern implant technique designed to support a full arch of replacement teeth using four strategically placed implants. By carefully positioning the implants at specific angles, the treatment can provide strong support while using fewer implants than some traditional approaches.
In suitable cases, temporary teeth may be attached on the same day as implant placement, allowing you to leave The Dental Health Centre with a fixed set of replacement teeth while your implants heal.
